WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Firstly, please contact us to make sure your preferred date and location are free.
(This is private property so you will generally have the space to yourself)
(we will meet you at the Sunshine Coast PCYC carpark and walk guests down).
Please note there are no toilets, tables, water or shelter on site, though all are available at the PCYC, approximately 200m walk.
This is the only site we do raft building at.
Pt Cartwright Rockpools
La Balsa Park
We meet at La Balsa Park and walk you to the Rock Pools. There are bins and toilets approximately 100m away; the closest shelter and tables are at La Balsa Park. No drinking water.
This is the only site we do rock pool tours at.
Maroochy Botanic Gardens
51 Palm Creek Road
Toilets, water and shelters all available. This site can be used as a back up site for wet/windy days.
We generally run our parties in the children's gardens (Whipbird Walk). Park at the first carpark as you enter (you should see a dam in front of you) and head to the signs on your left. Follow the path over the bridge (you'll see loos on your left), head right and walk over the grass towards the stone circle and you'll see the path to the Whipbird walk through the trees. We will be set up next to the shelter.
50 Moorfields St,
Fig Tree Pocket
Once on Moorfields St,continue driving to the corner of Moorfields St and Cottesmore St and park your car. We will meet you there.
This is a beautiful rainforest location with shallow creek running through. No public toilets available onsite, we bring in a camp toilet and hand-washing to this site.
Corner of Bardon Esplanade and Lilley Rd
This is our raft building location for Brisbane City. It is a lovely shady, forested area with public toilets.
Our activities are child led. Meaning that you may book us for a Bow and Arrows workshop for example and your child may decide part way through that they want to make a spear instead, or go and explore the creek, or build a cubby house. So though you may have signed up for a certain activity, with a certain end product, please be aware that your child/ren may find something far more interesting to do! No matter what they choose to do (95% do the activity for the two hours), we will follow the children's lead and ensure that we are supervising the group and that they are being safe.
WHAT CAN I BRING ON SITE?
You may BYO food, drinks, tables, chairs and party decorations to all sites. It is a bit of a walk to all sites from the carpark, so if you have a bit of gear, we suggest bringing a pram, cart etc to put it all in.
We generally run all our activities from a big round mat on the ground.
Once we have confirmed your date is available, we will send you an invoice for the minimum amount of $375 (10 children). This needs to be paid before we will confirm your booking. On the day, we will do a head count and invoice you for any extra children over the original booking amount.
Please contact us if you have any other questions!
